Problem with a Easter Dress I bought.

I purchased the Southern tots Easter lamb dress a few days before Easter for my grandaughter and I didn’t wash it until after she wore it at Easer. The first time I washed the dress with like colors, it changed the color of the fabric of the dress. It is really dingy like it faded the dress completely. I placed an order in October for several items totaling almost $100. I have gotten no response to emails, no communication whatsoever. Now the website has been shut down, the FB pages are closed, the instagram account is gone, and they have my money. I've spoken to several moms in my area and they have outstanding orders with them too. It seems like they have taken orders and closed their doors. I want my money or a refund immediately. I will be taking action with my bank and will contact an attorney if necessary. I've ordered from them before, and while my order took a while to be delivered, it finally came. This time, they have literally stolen from people.

Oh my God, I am in the same boat!!! Granted my order was only for $44, but that's $44 nonetheless!!

I made my payment through their amazon payments option and there is a quarantee from A to Z so I think i will get a full refund next week.

If you paid with Paypal you just open a claim, an it takes about a week to be refunded. I know several people who have gotten refunded due to this.

(I'm currently waiting on a response and solution via paypal myself). Otherwise, you can see what your bank will do.

They have shut their doors and will not be refunding. Unless you used a purchase protection outlet like paypal there is not much you can do :(

You cannot contact them, they filed bankruptcy and screwed over their customers. Link above.

If you paid through paypal, file a claim with them. Otherwise contact your bank.

I never got my order either. It was supposed to be here at the end of October.

I got an email saying they were behind and would ship it in November. I have sent 4 emails since and have not heard back from them.

I had the same experience as others who are posting....I ordered on September 12, 2016 and have not received our items nor can I get in contact them in anyway. I am out $62.98 for my order of two customized kids' pajamas for the holidays. I am regretful I didn't follow my gut on this one and ordered so far in advance. It didn't make sense to me at the time to have to order 4 months in advance to get a discount for the holidays, but now it makes sense with a company that was going under or non-existent all together. This is so, so frustrating, especially around the holidays.

On November 1st I placed an order with Southern tots for some Christmas gifts for my girls. Since I placed the order (that should have only taken 7-10 days to get here) I have not been able to get ANY response from the store. I have tried emails, calls, and facebook which were all ignored. Now when you try to find their page, it no longer pulls up. This company STOLE $91 from my family and it will be well after Christmas before I get my kids Christmas money back. I am sharing this to warn everyone I know, PLEASE do not make the same huge mistake I did.

I did two seperate orders for denim ruffle pants and paid for them in full plus shipping. Never received products or refunds. It is a shame the closed without any warning or way to contact the company

Like many others I ordered a dress for Christmas for my grandchild and haven't received it, and from what I read in these comments, the company is out of business and can't be contacted. I'm assuming that I can get a credit card refund if they've gone out of business! I'm so disappointed! There doesn't appear to be any way to get in touch with these people. What a rip off! I don't really have any other words to offer, but they won't accept the review with less than 100 words, so I guess I'll just add a few. Okay.

How frustrating! Their website is down and no one is answering their phone (706-210-****).

I pre-ordered matching Christmas jammies for my kids on 8/16/16 via their Facebook ad. They debited my checking via PayPal that same day.

Here it is November and apparently they're out of business! These people are criminals!

This saddens me wholely. I LOVE SouthernTots AND their quality merchandise. I was so excited to receive my order with monogrammed gifts fir my little girl. ($87 order) I understand it was pre-order merchandise, but I am so sad that a company with normally excellent customer svc has done its loyal customers so *** dirty. SMH!! SHAME ON YOU ST!! Above all.. thankfully i was able to get a full refund from my credut card company. This is considered FRAUD!! Well, they have officially declared bankruptcy. She knee about this and kept taking orders.

I'm so upset. If you have any other reputable monogram company references please lmk haha you can copy the links I have posted here and another comment that tells the whole story. This company is a multi million dollar company im not so sure what caused them to become upsidedown, but it's sad.

I'm just posting this because I feel so sorry for those who have lost money. This is an article from the WRDW/12 website. Hope it helps a little. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016 COLUMBIA CO., Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Development Authority of Columbia County named Southern Tots Company of the year in 2015 but this week the online children's clothing business abruptly closed. An On Your Side investigation reveals Southern Tots closed after the Georgia Attorney General ordered the owner to refund more than seven thousand customers. Southern Tots sent this statement to On Your Side's Liz Owens: "Southern Tots is in the process of shutting down operations because it is no longer financially able to continue. We appreciate the support of our loyal customers and the opportunity we had to provide them with quality children's clothing for the past 6 years. We understand that there are a number of customers who are awaiting fulfillment of their orders. We are working working with our vendors and lenders to see if we can fulfill those orders. We are saddened and heartbroken that our business, which we built from scratch, is not able to continue." The owner, Ashley Jerningan, also gave little explanation to her employees. Several contacted Gigi Turner with the Better Business Bureau after finding out they were out of a job. "They were told this week that they are no longer working and sent them all home," Turner said. For over a year, consumers have been filing those complaints with the Better Business Bureau. "Some consumers have product they ordered but haven't received. Some have been waiting for months for their product," Turner said. Consumers also complained to the Georgia Attorney General. In September, Jernigan voluntary agreed to give more than seven thousand customers a refund which totals more than $175,000. The refunds only include purchases made from December of 2015 through March of 2016. Jernigan was also ordered to pay a $20,000 fine, which she did in October. This comes after the Attorney General alleged Jernigan committed unfair or deceptive acts or practices. According to the Development Authority of Columbia County, Southern Tots employed more than thirty people and made more than 14 million dollars in sales in five years. The Attorney General is urging consumers to call the Office of Consumer Protection if they don't receive a refund or order. The number is (800) 869-****. The Better Business Bureau is also asking consumer to call them if they have a complaint at (706) 210-****.

So wrong even after they were in trouble by the attorney general they kept taking orders and people's money. Just awful.

I paid $202.93 on 09/09/16 for an order that I never received. A majority of this order was Christmas gifts for my daughter. I received this email 11/01/16 from Southern Tots: "We are writing to let you know that our Southern Tween line was delayed in leaving our factory and therefore will not ship in the October timeframe as promised. This was a factory delay that was out of our control. We expect the shipment to arrive in November. I will follow up with a shipment update within the next week. We are so very sorry for this delay. We want to make sure that we provide the best possible options for you to make sure you are pleased. We want to reach out to you and offer the following option: 1. We can cancel your order and refund you for this inconvenience if you so wish. As soon as the Southern Tween line arrives in our warehouse, we will make it our priority to ship them out to you. We are so thankful and blessed to have so many incredible customers and we promise that we are working as hard as possible to provide the best experience for all our customers. Thank you for your understanding, and please let me know if you would like your order to be cancelled." I never heard anything so I went online 12/02/16 to check the status of my order and found out they have closed. Pissed is not the word!! Not asking for a pity party, but the fact is I am a single mother in nursing school. This was 90% of my daughter's Christmas. WTH am I going to do now?? I don't have the money to buy her anything else. $200 may not be a lot to some, but it is to me. I hope they sleep well at night
